Thank you for your interest in GGAC Ministries!
GGAC Ministries is a ministry committed to serving God and the spiritual needs of others. I believe in using Biblical principles, I offer practical tools for leading a joyous, abundant, peaceful and sober life. I have led the life of destruction, I have had abandoment and loss, I have wondered aimlessly lost. I do not want anyone else to go through what I did, and you do not have to.
My Ministry is based on the belief that God is the comfortor of all our needs. No matter how bad things may seem in life you need to Give GOD A Chance and let Him work in your life. I am committed to helping you find the way there. As a result, your life will be changed and you will have a new inspiration and belief in yourself and in what the Holy Spirit can do and will do in your life, if you only Give God A Chance. I was inspired by my adopted Mama Dianne (Haneke) to write a book on my life's journey. I write poems crying out to God, I sat down and wrote a devotional to go along with each poem. My book was published and is available on Amazon.com If you are interested please go to the link below and you can get a copy. At least go and read the "Reviews" I am humbled and amazed that God would use me and my life for something such as this! (Thank you Mama "D")

Weekly Devotional 2-14-2012 Showing Love
First off “Happy Valentine’s Day” to everyone and if you are single “Happy Single Awareness Day!” Keep your eyes, ears and heart open love always finds a way!
Out of respect for this day and the true meaning of it I say a humble prayer for all of the Christians and martyrs who have loved for Christ and layed down their lives being what it really means to be a Valentine.
I forgot to write a devotional last week. All of last year it was pretty easy to keep up with it and write them because I was so alone and had so much time on my hands. Rather than stray to temptation and things that would get me in trouble in my boredom I chose to write that is how these devotionals came to begin. I love to write it is a piece of me, a part of me, it is a gift that God gave me a long time ago and has been the vessel of transportation for me to be able to get out my inner most hurts and pains and joys and thoughts from life out.
The Bible tells us in James 4:8, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” I feel that is what I do when I write it is when my thoughts are flowing out on the paper that I feel closest to Him, and He to me.
As I stated above last year I was completely alone and only had school and work to contend with. This year things have did a complete one-hundred and eighty degree turn around my daughter and my grand-children were able to move back home with me, thank be to God and the love of my Papa Mel (RIP). This is an answered prayer that I have been praying for three years. However, I did not realize how I would have to change my schedule around to try to fit family time in an already full schedule with school and part-time work.
There is nothing more precious in the world than family even if you have hard times and struggles inside each and every one of us there is that unique but similar thread of existence; we all came from the same loin cloth so to speak. We are all family! Family can be beautiful and family can be tumultuous look in the Bible and see that. For those who are not familiar with the stories they are stories such as Jacob and Esau and their mother Rebekah in Genesis 27, 28, 32, 33, now the boy’s mother was really the instigator here one would think what kind of a mother would do such a thing, favoritism happens in families. Read about Joseph who was favored by his father in Genesis 37. Read the book of Ruth about love enduring even if you are not “blood” family, and there are so many more stories of real people with real hurts, but the most important story of all; God’s love for us in the giving of His Son Jesus Christ.
We are all in this together we are born, we live, we die, no one gets out of this world alive. There is a life after this one in which we will all be held accountable for everything we have said and did in this life. We should all love and care for one another. You should help those less fortunate than yourself. If you are able to give; give to others when the time presents itself to do so.
Today I challenge everyone reading this whether you are reading it today on 2-14-2012 or whatever day you are reading it, I challenge you to make a difference in someone’s life who is less fortunate than you. I challenge you to give; if you can give money find someone who needs it and give some to them, if time then give time to someone in a nursing home or a hospital, give a hug, a smile an ear to someone outside of your comfort zone.
When you do that then you are truly celebrating Valentine ’s Day the way God expects us to do it, with the love and the compassion that Christ showed us!
Love Alwayz,
Michelle
GOD bless you all and thank you for taking the time to spend here at GGAC Ministries!!! :-)

A YOUNG MAN HITCH-HIKING:
Yesterday morning Veterans day 11-11-2010, I was driving down I35 outside Austin Texas and there was a young man walking. He did not have his thumb out but I pulled over anyway to give him a ride. His name is Luke and he is traveling across the U.S. up to Seattle doing a documentary on hitch-hiking. He broke out his camera and interviewed me while driving down the road. He is about 24-25 years old, I did not think to ask him his age as we were having such good conversation. About a mile down the road was another hitch-hiker, I pulled over and picked him up also. He was a veteran who had lost his job and not gotten paid and was trying to make it back home to Oklahoma, his name was Paul! Luke interviewed him also to document his story. Luke was telling us that he had prayed to God and asked him “God if I am to continue on this journey please give me a sign” well he and I both believe me stopping and picking him up was that sign. He said he was ready to give up and quit.
I cannot help but think of the bravery and courage it is taking for Luke to take this journey in the dangerous world we live in now days. I am asking you if you could please air this story so than any listeners who may see Luke will maybe pick him up and help him on his journey but more than anything else if we could get a prayer chain going to pray for his safety on this journey!
You may wonder why this is so important to me. I use to be a drug addict and alcoholic and have been homeless 5 times. I use to have to hitch-hike A LOT! It is very dangerous out there. I was raped once but survived. I am very concerned for Luke. I always pull over and pick up hitch-hikers because I remember what it was like walking down those highways just praying for the next place to rest or the next safe ride. I also pick them up because I want to know their story. That is the first thing I ask them, “what is your story?” Everyone has a story and I am always curious as to what is this persons story.
As I said he is about 24-25, he is carrying a guitar case and a LARGE army like duffle bag with a brown teddy bear pillow hanging off of it. He has curly brown hair and is tall and thin. I am thinking this morning as I awoke at 3:00 a.m. thinking of him, he should probably be between Waco and Dallas or up around Dallas by now. PLEASE PRAY for Luke and his safety on this journey!!! GOD bless you all
UPDATE -Today 2-5-2011 Luke called me and said "thank you so very much, if it hadn't been for you and others who gave me a ride I would probably still be out there." He was very greatful and safe back at home in Texas! PRAISE BE TO GOD OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN!!! Thank you LORD for protecting Luke and bringing him back home safely!!! Just as this young man in this story did not give up, neither should you, you will never win (succeed) if you give in!! DON"T give up and remember "Greater is HE who is in (for) us than he who is in the world" 1 John 4:4
Never give up on GOD because HE will never give up on you!!!
Blessings
