GGAC Ministries is a ministry committed to serving God and the spiritual needs of others. I believe in using Biblical principles, I offer practical tools for leading a joyous, abundant, peaceful and sober life.  I have led the life of destruction, I have had abandoment and loss, I have wondered aimlessly lost. I do not want anyone else to go through what I did, and you do not have to.

My Ministry is based on the belief that God is the comfortor of all our needs.  No matter how bad things may seem in life you need to Give GOD A Chance  and let Him work in your life. I am committed to helping you find the way there. As a result, your life will be changed and you will have a new inspiration and belief in yourself and in what the Holy Spirit can do and will do in your life, if you only Give God A Chance.  I was inspired by my adopted Mama Dianne (Haneke) to write a book on my life's journey.  I write poems crying out to God, I sat down and wrote a devotional to go along with each poem. My book was published and is available on Amazon.com   If  you are interested please go to the link below and you can get a copy.  At least go and read the "Reviews" I am humbled and amazed that God would use me and my life for something such as this! Weekly Devotional 11-27-2011  Power Corrupts, Aboslute Power Corrupts, Absolutely!

In the Bible in the Gospels it is written that Jesus taught to give to Caesar what is Caesars. In Mark 12:13-17 there is the question about paying taxes to Caesar.  Jesus starts off here with the Pharisees and the Herodian’s.  There is a question concerning tribute to Caesar the Romans had a head tax that they had to pay. The question comes up about who you are honoring if you pay this tax. So here the Pharisees decide to find out where Jesus stands on this issue.
Jesus says, "Bring me a coin and let me look at it." Here is a key theological point that emerges; an item belongs to one whose image it bears.  See what Jesus said in verse 16. The reference to the "image or likeness (head)" comes from Genesis 1:26 where Adam is created in God’s Image/Likeness.

The point that is being made is that "ya this coin belongs to Caesar render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar." What is really being said is that human beings are made by the Creator we bear His image and belong to Him. This is important that we are made in the image of God, we who are human made in the image and likeness of God we belong to Him. The point being made, in our modern culture we have gotten it all wrong. We separate Church and State nearly everything belongs to Caesar and there is a very little bit for God left over. We have it all backwards. This is one where Jesus best gets them.

As unsettling as it is for us to pay taxes because of what they are used for things like murder (abortion) and wars that we should not be in, and then not being able to take care of our own country and elderly, taxes we must pay if I don’t there are serious consequences.  However, I do want to address a few issues by way of an email I received.  Please consider this carefully and pass it on to everyone you know.  The only way things will change is by our VOTE! Get out there and vote for Politian’s who want to stop federal aid to other countries and who want to make smaller government control in our lives. See the email below and pass this on.

In Jesus name we need a change in this country and land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Pray for our government and vote for Constitutionally Conservative Christians to be put in office.

This was sent to me, I am forwarding it because it does touch a nerve in me…

Get angry and pass this on!

Remember, not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that's close to $220,500.

If you calculate the future value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer's contribution) at a simple 5% (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you'd have $892,919.98. (Eight Hundred Ninety Two Thousand Nine Hundred Nineteen Dollars and Ninety Eight cents) that is YOUR MONEY!

If you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you're 95 if you retire at age 65) and that's with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.

The folks in Washington have pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madhoff ever had.

Entitlement what a JOKE, I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!! And it was not by my choice. I tried several times to opt out and could not because it is REQUIRED a LAW!!! HA Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!!

Congressional benefits get ---- free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare and your paying for it, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement entitlements?

We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless and Farmers amongst a nation that is the richest in the world.

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey, and now Pakistan ...... home of bin Laden. Our Government has literally paid BILLIONS of DOLLARS to others!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

99% of people won't have the guts to copy this and pass it on.

I'm one of the 1% -- I Just Did.
'In God We Trust!'
"Power Corrupts, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely!"

GOD bless you all and thank you for taking the time to spend here at GGAC Ministries!!! :-)

A YOUNG MAN HITCH-HIKING:

Yesterday morning Veterans day 11-11-2010, I was driving down I35 outside Austin Texas and there was a young man walking. He did not have his thumb out but I pulled over anyway to give him a ride. His name is Luke and he is traveling across the U.S. up to Seattle doing a documentary on hitch-hiking. He broke out his camera and interviewed me while driving down the road. He is about 24-25 years old, I did not think to ask him his age as we were having such good conversation. About a mile down the road was another hitch-hiker, I pulled over and picked him up also. He was a veteran who had lost his job and not gotten paid and was trying to make it back home to Oklahoma, his name was Paul! Luke interviewed him also to document his story. Luke was telling us that he had prayed to God and asked him “God if I am to continue on this journey please give me a sign” well he and I both believe me stopping and picking him up was that sign. He said he was ready to give up and quit.
I cannot help but think of the bravery and courage it is taking for Luke to take this journey in the dangerous world we live in now days. I am asking you if you could please air this story so than any listeners who may see Luke will maybe pick him up and help him on his journey but more than anything else if we could get a prayer chain going to pray for his safety on this journey!
You may wonder why this is so important to me. I use to be a drug addict and alcoholic and have been homeless 5 times. I use to have to hitch-hike A LOT! It is very dangerous out there. I was raped once but survived. I am very concerned for Luke.  I always pull over and pick up hitch-hikers because I remember what it was like walking down those highways just praying for the next place to rest or the next safe ride. I also pick them up because I want to know their story. That is the first thing I ask them, “what is your story?” Everyone has a story and I am always curious as to what is this persons story.
As I said he is about 24-25, he is carrying a guitar case and a LARGE army like duffle bag with a brown teddy bear pillow hanging off of it. He has curly brown hair and is tall and thin. I am thinking this morning as I awoke at 3:00 a.m. thinking of him, he should probably be between Waco and Dallas or up around Dallas by now. PLEASE PRAY for Luke and his safety on this journey!!! GOD bless you all

UPDATE -Today 2-5-2011 Luke called me and said "thank you so very much, if it hadn't been for you and others who gave me a ride I would probably still be out there." He was very greatful and safe back at home in Texas! PRAISE BE TO GOD OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN!!! Thank you LORD for protecting Luke and bringing him back home safely!!! Just as this young man in this story did not give up, neither should you, you will never win (succeed) if you give in!! DON"T give up and remember "Greater is HE who is in (for) us than he who is in the world" 1 John 4:4
Never give up on GOD because HE will never give up on you!!!

Blessings

In John 3 we find a man who's faith  was strong in religion and Jesus set him straight; that is that Faith is an Inner Transformational Journey and not rigid rules and regulations. In John 4 we have a woman who thought herself no good and had  "relationship addiction", to fill the holes in her soul, and Jesus encouraged her that she was a child of God, and filled her inner spirit with the living water of God! InJohn 5 we have a man who lived with his infirmities in self- pity and in the "victim role" and Jesus healed him by a new faith and confidence in God and in himself. I literally relate to this man because I was not healed until I was 38. Some people come because of problems with alcohol, other because of problems with drug, others have come because of a personal loss of a family member, and others because of valleys that life has thrown in their path.

We hope that for whatever reason you are here on this site, that in some way you will find the answers you need or are searching for. That is what GGAC Ministries is all about. May God Bless You and keep you in His ever- loving care. See the bible verse Isaiah 41:17, " When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thrist, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. Or another verse that I find comfort in is, Isaiah 40:31, " But the they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not be faint. I don't know where you are in your walk in life; but I find personal comfort in knowing that I can have the wings of a eagle and soar above all that is in or below me, if I only believe.
